Type: black granite monument
Description:
This polished black granite monument has names engraved on the outer two panels on each side. The central panel is inscribed with an American Flag, the seals of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard and the dedication: "This Memorial Is Dedicated To The Men And Women ~ Of Stevens County Who Have Served In The ~ Military During Peace Time And War Time In ~ The Past, Present And Future". The rear of the central panel is inscribed: "Killed In Action ~ Spanish American War ~ Civil War ~ World War I ~ World War II ~ Korean War ~ Vietnam War ~ Operation Desert Shield ~ /Desert Storm ~ Operation Iraqi Freedom". Additional names are on the side panels.
