Description:
Marble columns are mounted in a circle. Slabs and benches are between the columns. The slabs record the names of Gray County veterans dating from the Civil War forward. The reported cost for the memorial (2006) is approximately $220,000. The plinth at the top of the columns is engraved: "Gray County Veterans Memorial".
The monument was designed and built by West Memorials, 2481 Broad Ave, Memphis, TN 38112.
